The ILC is a collaborative effort between DesignLights Consortium (DLC), International Facility Management Association (IFMA), Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Lighting Controls Association (LCA), National Association of Lighting Management Companies® (NALMCO®), and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), which provides participants with guidance, technical assistance, and access to resources, as well as recognition for innovative lighting projects. The recognition was announced at the IES Annual Conference on August 20, 2022.
