Sacramento, Calif. February 16, 2018—McWong International, a leading lighting and controls solutions provider, is introducing an innovative, Bluetooth-enabled, adaptive current LED emergency driver to its already robust Pacific series of LED drivers. Feature-rich, this latest product offers superior installation and operational flexibility.
Offered in two form factors, the LED emergency driver combines the long-life LiFeP04 battery pack and driver into a single enclosure, enabling greater flexibility for mounting and installation. Customers can choose to install the driver into the fixture or in a remote location, depending on the application. Once installed, the Bluetooth connectivity enables remote testing compliance, always a significant concern with emergency lighting and components. Additionally, the connectivity enables real-time monitoring so that facility operators receive timely information about battery lifecycles. With this capability, for instance, facility managers can schedule maintenance activities on critical emergency lighting well in advance of any potential failure.
