McWong Continues Expansion of Bluetooth® mesh Control Network Devices with New Z10 Controllers

Jul 14, 2021

SACRAMENTO, Calif. July 8, 2021— McWong International, a leading lighting and controls solutions provider, continues to expand device choices for its Bluetooth mesh control platforms with the introduction of its new Z10 wireless fixture controllers. Compatible with both TruBlu™ and Casambi systems, the new controllers offer photocell control, high-end trim, zone control, bi-level dimming, and white tuning. The controllers feature a Z10 low voltage connector, an industry standard interface for adding low-voltage controls to 0-10V dimmable luminaires. The controllers are suitable for a wide range of indoor or outdoor applications and carry an IP65 rating.

The new controllers join a comprehensive lineup of hardware choices for the company’s award-winning, DLC-certified TruBlu Bluetooth mesh control platform. These include microwave, ultrasonic and passive infrared occupancy and motion sensors; fixture controllers with single- and dual-channel control capabilities for light level and white tuning, photocell for daylight-responsive control, and wireless wall switches for manual override control. The platform features robust networking and communication capabilities combined with Bluetooth qualification for all devices for enhanced interoperability. The TruBlu web portal and app, powered by McWong’s technology partner Silvair’s SIG-qualified software stack, provides convenient and user-friendly interfaces for project design, commissioning, and operation post-installation.

The controllers are also compatible with McWong's Casambi mesh solution, which combines the hardware platform of devices, including dimming occupancy sensors (PIR, ultrasonic, and microwave); fixture controllers, and dimming wall switches, with the Casambi application interface. This provides comprehensive controllability and a full range of control parameters, including ON/OFF; dimming; grouping; adjustable ramp and fade for dimming functions; scenes; scheduling functions (ON/OFF or other light level by time and date or astronomical); white color tuning; and much more.
