SACRAMENTO, Calif., January 3, 2024— McWong International, a leading innovator in wireless mesh technology, has appointed Paul Blanc as its sales representative for western Europe. Blanc brings more than 15 years of lighting and controls expertise to the appointment, including application engineering, business development and product management experience with Philips Lighting, Osram and Samsung.
“With his strong background in LED lighting as well as his knowledge of lighting regulations and standards in Europe, Paul brings valuable expertise to the McWong team,” says McWong Executive Vice President Blane Goettle.
In addition to his experience with Philips, Osram and Samsung, Blanc established the lighting solution business and led the lighting team at Arrow Electronics from 2018-2021. Most recently, he served as Sales Director, Europe for BOLB. Since then, he has launched his own sales representation firm, LEDnetwork from his location in southern Germany. Blanc earned a Master of Science from ESIEA (ÉCOLE D’INGÉNIEUR·E·S D’UN NUMÉRIQUE UTILE).
