SACRAMENTO, Calif. and ESPOO, Finland May 1, 2018—McWong International, a leading lighting and controls solutions provider, is partnering with Casambi Technologies, a leader in wireless lighting control solutions based on Bluetooth Low Energy, to infuse its PacWave® Smart Sensor Control Platform with robust wireless connectivity.
McWong’s PacWave control platform encompasses a range of occupancy and motion sensors, dimming wall switches and wall switch sensors, dimming power packs, fixture controllers, and mobile apps (Android and iOS) for remote configuration of sensor and dimming settings. It is founded on a patent-pending design for flexible integration of various wireless protocols, including Bluetooth® protocols and other commercially-available wireless control protocols. For Bluetooth mesh capability, McWong teamed with Casambi as an early software innovator in the wireless connectivity technology.
