SACRAMENTO, Calif., March 28, 2024— mwConnect (formerly McWong International), a leading innovator in wireless mesh technology, has launched its new wireless mesh compact sensor-controller series. These mini devices, with a footprint of approximately only two inches, offer feature-rich functionality for Bluetooth or proprietary mesh ecosystems.
Available for DALI or 0-10v dimming protocols, the devices comply with Zhaga Book 20 specifications for streamlined installation either in the factory or in the field. Designed for today’s sleek LED fixtures and for Luminaire Level Lighting Control (LLLC)—an approach that includes a control device into every fixture to provide the most flexibility in terms of control strategies and in terms of future adjustability—the small form factor ensures the device easily fits into virtually any type of fixture.
Devices are DALI D4i compliant to afford high degree of interoperability within the fixture, enabling collection of data such as occupancy patterns and energy usage. Sensing capabilities include both PIR occupancy as well as daylighting so the application can utilize two control strategies—occupancy-based and daylight harvesting. The devices are DLC certified.
